Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Piyush Bujade (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit chatbot-demo-oyvg.onrender.com, piyushbujade.com, or chatbot.piyushbujade.com, or interact with any AI chatbot demo hosted on these domains (the “Site”).

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide directly — if you fill out a contact form, reply to an email, or otherwise message us, we collect whatever information you choose to share (e.g., name, email address, business name).
• Chatbot demo conversations — if you interact with a demo chatbot on this Site, the messages you send are processed in order to generate a response. Demo conversations may be reviewed by us for quality and product-improvement purposes. Please don't enter real personal or sensitive information (such as real patient details) during a demo conversation — treat it the same as the booking details described below.
• Demo booking details — if you book a sample appointment inside a demo, the name you supply is held temporarily so the demo can display it, and is visible to anyone else who opens that same demo link while it remains stored. Please do not enter real personal details you would not want shown. This data is held only in memory and is erased whenever the demo application restarts.
• Engagement statistics — for each business's demo link, we keep aggregate counts of how many times it's been opened, how many chat messages were sent, and whether a demo booking was completed, along with when each last happened. This is tied to the business's demo link, not to your individual identity, and does not include your name, IP address, or message content.
• Basic technical data — standard web server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps), collected automatically the way most websites do. Your IP address is also used to apply rate limits that protect the demo from abuse.

We do not set our own tracking cookies and we do not use analytics tools such as Google Analytics. However, this Site loads fonts and an embedded video from third parties (see section 3), and those providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies or similar storage when those elements load. The video embed is configured with Vimeo's “do not track” option enabled.

2. How we use this information

We use the information above to: respond to inquiries, operate and improve the demo chatbot and this Site, understand how the Site is used, and — where you've provided contact information for this purpose — follow up about our services.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party service providers

Operating this Site and the chatbot demo requires sharing data with a small number of service providers, who process it on our behalf or receive it when their content loads:

• Anthropic (api.anthropic.com) — processes chatbot conversation content in order to generate AI responses. Anthropic does not retain this content by default beyond what's necessary to generate the response, with limited exceptions (such as content flagged for safety review, or where retention is legally required), and does not use it to train its models by default. During a demo, conversations are processed under our own Anthropic account. Once a chatbot is deployed on a client's own website, that client typically uses their own Anthropic account, and Anthropic's terms with them govern that processing directly.
• Render — our hosting provider; hosts this Site and the chatbot demo application, and keeps standard server logs.
• Upstash — stores the aggregate engagement statistics described above on our behalf. Receives only a business link identifier and event counts, sent from our server; it does not receive your IP address or message content directly, since it isn't loaded in your browser.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the typefaces used on this Site; receives your IP address when those fonts load.
• Vimeo (player.vimeo.com) — serves the embedded explainer video; receives your IP address when the player loads, and may set its own storage if you play the video.

These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own data processing terms and privacy policies.

4. Data retention

We retain demo conversation data and contact form submissions only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Demo bookings and their associated names are held only in memory and are erased when the demo application restarts. Engagement statistics (the aggregate open/message/booking counts described above) are stored durably rather than in memory, so they persist across restarts; we delete a business's engagement statistics once their demo link is retired. See Section 3 above for Anthropic's own retention policy governing conversation content processed through their API — this is separate from, and in addition to, what we retain directly as described here.

5. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at piyushbujade@piyushbujade.com.

7. Children's privacy

This Site and chatbot demo are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
